The Department is engaged in research and education in the development, structure, function and diseases of the nervous system. A second main focus is research and education in drug develop- ment, and the basis of drug actions.
Scientific results are communicated in international journals, and in the media. Our researchers also put new important external findings into perspective.
Our researchers carry out research-based, clinically relevant undergraduate teaching and supervision at a number of study programs within the field of neuroscience and pharmacology.
